The renovation of the Mutual Aid Liberation Center will be the culmination of decades of community organizing, visioning sessions, and collective learning. Through years of community engagement—including an extensive visioning process led by the Design Studio for Social Intervention and concept design work with Atelier Cory Henry—residents and organizers have shaped a vision for this space that reflects the needs and hopes of Brownsville’s past, present, and future.
